Heavy bottomed success leads to price drop

The worldwide success of the Heavy Bottom Caps has brought playing as well as price benefits to customers...

Heavy
The growing success and investment has led to a significant drop in prices

The growing worldwide success of the range of Heavy Bottom Caps (HBCs) has meant that a brand new investment in state of the art tooling machinery has already paid off from designer Chris Waters and his growing company.

It has also meant a significant reduction in production costs with the price of the range falling from nearly £70 to just under £40.00.

Investment

Talking about how the investment has paid off for both the company and his customers, Chris told 4BR: "Whilst other companies may have thought the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic would cause a downturn, it has been the opposite for us.

The investment has reduced overheads and manufacturing time significantly, enabling us to pass the savings on to our customers.

We have reduced the prices from £68 to £39, plus £4.95 postage and packing and limited sales outlets to customers from ourselves direct or though the 4barsrest Shop — and the demand continues to soar."

Global

Chris revealed that the Heavy Bottom Caps can now be found on instruments all over the musical globe — from students to professionals gaining the advantages they bring.

"We're delighted at the sales, but even more so that it invariably comes with a return e-mail thanking us for the service we provide and the results its produces!

We make HBCs to fit Bach, Besson, Boosey & Hawkes, Couesnon, Courtois, Eclipse, Schilke, Sterling, Stomvi and Yamaha instruments for soprano, cornet, flugel and tenor horn, and we're so confident that they enhance any player's sound that they all come with a 1 month approval time for players to get used to them.

If they can't get on with the HBC then they simply return it and get a full refund. That said, we've never had one back yet!"
