Milnrow celebrates 150 years of proud heritage

The Milnrow Band has launched its new CD as it celebrates 150 years of proud brass band music making

Milnrow
The CD celebrates 150 years of proud brass band music making

The Milnrow Band has made sure that not even the Coronavirus pandemic will stop them from celebrating its 150th anniversary.

Appropriately entitled 'Heritage' its made up of 11 easy listening concert favourites and solo items of music that reflects the band's proud history and future musical outlook.

The original release date was set to coincide with a special 150th anniversary concert at Rochdale Town Hall, but understandably it had to be cancelled.

It is hoped that a delayed event will occur as soon as circumstances make it possible.

Thanks

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Our thanks go to Keith and Jess at KMJ Recordings for helping us produce such a fantastic album and also to Jolly Northerner and the design team at IMDESIGN.

The ambition to make a recording to celebrate 150 years of history has been made possible by the hard work and commitment of the band, and we now hope people can sit back and enjoy the playing."
