In the latest in the series of major 4BR interviews with leading brass band personalities and performers across the banding world, 4BR Editor Iwan Fox catches up with Steven Mead.
The Besson artist usually has a busy international schedule of solo and teaching engagement across the globe, but as the Coronavirus pandemic had caused a travel lockdown he is now back at home.
He talks about what this means to him as a performer, his feelings of disappointment for the banding movement in Palanga following the cancellation of the European Brass Band Championships, and how he has approached new ways of teaching students at the RNCM in Manchester and his use of social media.
