Yamaha trombone artist Armin Bachmann will be providing a romantic musical interlude this evening (Thursday 23rd April at 7.00pm CET) to relieve the tedium of the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
He will be joined by pianist Tatjana Fuog for a special self-isolated concert entitled, 'Romantic Sounds from Home Office for Piano and Trombone'.
Passion
It may not be the catchiest of titles but as Armin told 4BR, with music from Schubert, Schumann, Guilmant, Weber, Sandstrom and a certain Arthur Pryor it should be a night in the savour...
"This unique time poses very special challenges for all of us. Nevertheless, I don't want to give up my passion, so I perform music actively every day.
Romantic music is my big love and melody the real power of music — from a song by Schubert and Schumann to Arthur Pryor..."

Excited
He added: "This concert in my living room is a special combination at a demanding time for people. Tatjana and I have rehearsed via social media apps and she is such a wonderful pianist that it was like having her next to me.
My friend Peter Gossweiler will film everything — and as we speak we are all very excited about the project.
I've been teaching via the Word Brass Association's Online Academy since the lockdown. It's strange to explain to the camera breathing, warm ups or scales, so this is something new and exciting.
I hope lots of people join us with a glass of wine, some chocolates and some romance in the air!"
