There have been more great examples of bands doing their bit to bring joy, peace and happiness to life in lockdown — literally so with Eccles Band from Greater Manchester.

Five Live

Meanwhile, Brighouse & Rastrick's super 'Floral Dance', effort has made to the national radio airwaves with a feature on Radio 5 Live with presenter Tony Livsey. You can hear them at around 47 minutes into the programme.

NHS Fund Raiser

Foden's has also kept on with their support for the health workers of the NHS. Their third 'Stay at Home' performance is entitled 'Song for the Frontline' and was written by principal trombonist John Barber to help raise funds for the NHS and other frontline services.

It features colleagues working with the Police, Fire Services, the NHS and within other frontline roles.

Foden's Band have created a donate button on their facebook post as well as donating all proceeds from the sales of the music before the 1st July 2020 to NHS Charities Together

Bearpark & Esh Colliery Band give things an upbeat feel with the great 'Goldcrest' march — conducted by MD Philip Tait in the best Dayglo orange shorts ever. The singing 'ain't bad either...

And Cory has carried on their musical output with 'Hallelujah for the NHS' — a celebration of the amazing work the NHS staff are undertaking, accompanied by a photo montage of those working every day to keep people safe and well.
