Duty of care

Newtown Silver Band Chairman David Evans told 4BR: "We've carefully considered all current advice and guidelines and feel we have a duty of care towards every person who would be taking part and attending the event.

The safety of all competing bands and members of the public was of paramount importance."

A big thank you to all the bands that have supported us over the years. We will be back and so will you!!organisers

Return

He added: "Last year saw a total of eleven bands taking part and the contest was televised by S4C. We sincerely hope that the sounds of brass bands will once again be echoing down the Severn Valley in June 2021!

A big thank you to all the bands that have supported us over the years. We will be back and so will you!!"
