There is a free lunch time concert with a bit of a difference to enjoy at the famous Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham today (Friday 6th March at 12.00pm)

Symphonic Brass

Amid the displays of paintings by Manet, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec and Reynolds, sculptures by Rodin and exhibitions on coins collections, Rome and Persia, the Birmingham Symphonic Brass will perform a programme under the direction of Stephen Roberts.

The programme will include several new original pieces and arrangements by Anton Bruckner, Vernon Duke, Goran Bregovic, Jeremiah Clarke and Stephen himself.
