Yorkshire runners ready for Huddersfield Area tests

53 bands will battle it out to be crowned Yorkshire Champions and claim their places at London and Cheltenham.

  53 bands will compete at the Yorkshire Regional Championships

53 bands will take to the stage at Huddersfield Town Hall on the weekend of the 7th/8th March for the Yorkshire Regional Championships.

2019 top section champion Brighouse & Rastrick will defend their title against 14 rivals on Sunday afternoon (2.30pm), whilst the weekend's action starts on Saturday with the Fourth Section (9.15am), followed by the Second Section (approx 12.30pm) and First Section (approx 4.15pm).

Sunday sees the Third Section (9.30am) followed by the Championship Section.

Pre-qualified

Black Dyke and Brighouse & Rastrick are already pre-qualified for the National Final at the Royal Albert Hall, so there are two additional places up for grabs, whilst two bands from each of the other sections will qualify to represent the region at Cheltenham.
