Sovereign thrilled at youthful achievement

Jennifer Richardson, the youngest member of Sovereign Brass has reached the final of the BrassPass.tv 'Young Brass Award' solo competition.

Sovereign Brass has congratulated their youngest player Jennifer Richardson on reaching the final of the BrassPass.tv 'Young Brass Award' solo competition.

Tuition

Jennifer is a student at Stratford Girls' Grammar School and receives cornet tuition from Cory principal cornet Tom Hutchinson and Sovereign Brass Chairperson David Hirst.

The finals will be held at Bolton's Albert Halls on May 23rd, where the finalists will be accompanied by a top local brass band when they perform their 10 minute recital in the Under 13 category.

Putney and Wimbledon Brass Band

January 8 • Following our promotion to the 2nd section we are looking for a percussionist to do a bit of bing bonging on the timps for the regionals in March. We are a lovely band - everyone says so - so please get in touch. Rehearsals Weds from 1930 in Putney.
