Wantage
There were plenty of prize winners for Brett Baker to pick

There was a fantastic day of in-house competitive action at Wantage Silver Band on the weekend as they held their annual solo, duet, quartet and ensemble competition.

The unique event sees entrants from all seven bands within the organisation -Trainer, Community, Big Band, Academy Brass, Concert Brass and Wantage Senior.

This year 67 performances took part in 16 different categories in their bid to impress adjudicator Brett Baker. The Black Dyke star had the difficult task of deciding the results and in picking out the winning performances, including two special awards.
