The 2020 Bolsover Festival of Brass Championships may well be nine months away but the organisers have already reported that over 35 bands have already entered.

The contest, which will be held at a new venue at Shirebrook Academy on Sunday October 4th has become one of the most popular entertainment events in the UK, each performance in every section live broadcast around the banding world.

Enter early

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We are delighted with the early response from bands as we continue to build on the success of the event with our new hosts and raft of existing sponsors.

We would encourage bands to enter early to ensure they secure a place in the starting line-ups, so please get in touch."
