Bands ready for high Wire challenges

There is a strong field of bands putting final preparations in place for their appearances at the Brass in the Wire contests this weekend.

A strong field contenders are putting the final preparations in place for their first contest appearance of the 2020 season at the Brass in the Wire and British Open Youth in the Wire contests in Warrington on Sunday (26th January).

The event continues to enjoy generous support from R. Banks & Son (Funerals Ltd) under proprietor Brian Halliwell and marks a return to the venue that hosted the contest in 1983 and 1984.

Spring Festival

The combined Championship and First Section event offers separate prizes but will also include the incentive for qualification to the British Open Spring Festival.

It all kicks off at 10.00am.
