The Junior RNCM is providing an 'Open Day' opportunity to find out more about the vibrant community of gifted young musicians aged 8 to 18 who come together to develop their talent within the Royal Northern College of Music.
The RNCM is their home every Saturday during term time — offering a place to study with exceptional tutors, perform with like-minded people and make long-lasting friendships.
Family invite
Liz Rowley, Deputy Director of Marketing & Student Recruitment told 4BR: "Young brass players and their families are invited to attend the Junior RNCM Open Day on Saturday 8 February.
It's a great opportunity to hear various Junior RNCM ensembles, attend a showcase concert and speak with staff about the fantastic opportunities available."
Liz told 4BR that the Junior RNCM brass staff include some of the UK's leading performers and conductors, and students are able to perform within both a brass band setting and small and large ensembles, such as brass or jazz quartets and the Junior RNCM Big Band and Symphony Orchestra.
