Brass bands across the globe have been bringing plenty of festive musical spirit to season — including the splendid youngsters of Consett Junior Brass.
Throughout December they have been performing throughout their community with a spokesperson telling 4BR that they have played carols in five residential care homes, given a carol service, played at a coffee morning and popped in to play at their local Tesco and two churches!
"The children love playing to an audience and people love to hear a brass band at this time of the year — so you can imagine we have enjoyed every minute of it."
