Pre-sale of 2020 European tickets set for 2nd December

There will be 500 combination-tickets on offer on Monday 2nd December for those wishing to savour all the events in Palanga.

The European Brass Band Association (EBBA) and the organising committee of the 2020 European Brass Band Championships in Palanga have announced a pre-sale of 500 combination-tickets for the festival event will take place on 2nd December.

These tickets will give access to both the set-work and own-choice elements of the Championship Section competition as well as the Challenge Section contest, European Composers Competition and the Gala Concert, as well as the European Youth Championships.

Advance planning

In the press release EBBA stated: "This pre-sale is a perfect option to secure your seat(s) in the Palanga Concert Hall and will give you the opportunity to plan your trip in advance.

Participating bands will be able to buy their tickets in January via an order form which will be sent once all participators are confirmed."

Second opportunity

It was confirmed that a second opportunity to buy tickets for the event open on 1st February 2020.

The combination-tickets give access to the following events:

30th April: European Composers Competition Final

1st May: EBBC Championship Section (Set Test)

2nd May: EBBC Challenge Section and EBBC Championship Section (Own Choice)

2nd May: Gala Concert

3rd May: European Youth Brass Band Championship — Development and Premier Sections.

Harrogate Band

June 15 • After a fantastic result at the Wetherby Drovers Contest, The Harrogate Band are looking for a front row and a back row cornet player to complete the team. Rehearsals Weds 8pm with occasional Sundays at our own bandroom with great transport links


Tintwistle Band

June 15 • We have a vacancy for soprano cornet, and with lots of exciting engagements coming up would love to get this seat filled!. As a second section band,we rehearse every Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our bandroom in Tintwistle under the baton of MD Jim Henson.
