Dobcross Silver Band has welcomed the signing of the vastly experienced Paul Applegarth on bass trombone.

Paul has played with a number of leading bands over the years, including GUS Band, Kings of Brass and more recently Uppermill Band.

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Paul brings a wealth of experience to this excellent section in the band. We are delighted to welcome him on board."
