Towcester Studio Band has announced the appointment of Peter Wain as its new Musical Director.

Great success

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Musical Director Neil Brownless who has led us with great success since January 2015, will be leaving us in September to undertake a Master's Degree in Conducting Dr Robert Childs at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Due to this we are delighted to welcome Peter Wain to take over the baton. Peter previously conducted Towcester during a very successful period in the 1980's, culminating in an appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in 1985."
