Barker takes the helm at Witney

The experienced Chris Barker has taken in the MD role at Witney Town Band.

Witney Town Band has announced the appointment of Chris Barker as their new Musical Director.

From a Salvation Army family Chris has enjoyed 30 years in HM Forces; being principal trombone in The Life Guards, The Band of Corps of Royal Engineers and The Band and Bugles of The Rifles Bands.

He came back to the brass band world while serving in The Royal Engineers Band in Chatham helping Northfleet Brass return to the Championship Section.
