Sarah McWatt, Director of NYMAZ told 4BR: "Big Brass Day marks the start of a series of exciting brass events that we will be hosting over the course of the next 12 months.

With a proud heritage of brass bands in North Yorkshire, we want to help support and develop young brass players across the county to experience the exciting variety of brass music available to them.

We're delighted that some of the country's finest brass talent is joining us to teach and inspire the professional musicians of the future."
