The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland Summer Course will take place at Strathallan School in Forgandeny in Perthshire next month.
172 talented brass and percussion players will be put through their musical paces as part of the Children's, Reserve and Senior Bands by conductors Alan Fernie, John Boax , Ian Porthouse and Richard Evans from 21st July, culminating in a series of concerts on Saturday 27th July.
Mixture
The mixture of plenty of hard work, fun and great musical making is sure to once again provide a wonderful environment overseen by 15 expert tutors and a dozen Scottish Brass Band Association house staff.
The week culminates with the Children's Band concert Saturday 27th July in Strathallan School Theatre at 1.00pm, with the joint Reserve and Senior Band concert taking place in Albert Halls, Stirling on Saturday 27th July at 6.00pm.
