The Earby Band has paid it tribute to those who took part in the historic D Day Landings, with a concert at their local Holy Trinity Church in Barnoldswick.
They also took the opportunity to honour one of their much missed long-standing members Keith Green, who passed away in 2014.
The event was organised by Keith's wife, Lois, with the band performing a wide selection of 1940's music together with pieces that were associated her late husband.
Grant awards
A spokesperson told 4BR: "Keith was well known for helping the younger members of the band, and it was fitting that two of them, Lucca Fairhurst and Ewan Hudson performed featured solos on the night.
It was wonderful that Lois presented a grant award to two of the other young members, William and Harriot Ayers to help them along in their musical journeys."
The Earby Band also produced two of the most famous cornet players in history in Arthur Laycock and Edwin Firth, with members of the Firth family present for the event.
