A combination of the National Champions, British Open Youth Champions and one heck of a supergroup should make for an occasion not to miss in Mossley next month.

The trio of great bands hope to make a real musical impression in Mossley next month

Foden's Band will once again be spearheading a new artistic direction when they team up in concert with Elland Youth and the Superbrass ensemble for a concert at the George Lawton Hall, Mossley on Saturday 13th July

Fantastic collective

Speaking about the forthcoming event, Band Manager Mark Wilkinson said: "Over the past two years Foden's has had the opportunity to appear with world renowned artists such as Matt Ford, Mike Lovatt, the Wallace Collection and James Morrison.

Now we are looking to add to that with current British Open Youth champions Elland Youth led by the inspirational Samantha Harrison and the extraordinary Superbrass ensemble — a fantastic collective comprising many of the finest brass and percussion players currently working on the professional London music scene."

The group comprises leading musicians such as Mike Lovatt, Phil Cobb, Roger Argente, Chris Houlding and Kevin Morgan drawn from all the professional ranks of different London orchestras, big bands, West End shows and educational establishments.
