Tickets for the 2019 British Open Championship will go on sale on Friday 24th May at 10.00am.
However, with demand from brass band lovers to enjoy the performances from 18 world class competitors of Peter Graham's newly commissioned work, 'Dynasty — Symphonic Poem for Brass Band' expected to once again result in a 'sold out' Symphony Hall, the organisers of the 167th event have introduced a special 'Presale' loyalty scheme.
Presale customers
Any customer who booked tickets for the 2018 British Open through the Symphony Hall box office and provided a valid email address or account to them will be able to purchase up to 4 tickets from 10.00am on Thursday 23rd May.
Those who did so will receive an email on Wednesday 22nd May with a 'Presale' link.
Customers will be able to purchase their tickets in order to secure their seats for what promises to be an exceptional day of competition.
General sale
The general sale of tickets will be open from 10.00am on Friday 24th May.
Martin Mortimer co-organiser of the British Open told 4BR: "We greatly value the support of the brass band community and are aware that demand for the event is likely to exceed the number of seats available at Symphony Hall.
We hope that this gives our most loyal supporters the opportunity to secure their seats in advance, whilst still enabling our friends from all over the banding world to purchase tickets on-line or from Symphony Hall."
