Wardle claimed the European title for the second year in a row at Montreux

The newly crowned European Development Section Youth Champions, Wardle Academy Youth Band has been enjoying their celebrations following their recent success in Montreux.

Their victory has also ensured that they will head to Palanga in 2020 to defend their title, and as such they will be beginning their fund-raising activities straight away with a special concert featuring the Fairey Band and welcome Norwegians visitors Stavanger.

The concert will take place at Wardle Academy School on Friday 31st May (7.30pm). Tickets for the event will be available from the school.
