Euro countdown starts...

The countdown to the European Championships in Montreux has started — so remember to book your livestream coverage through World of Brass — from Monday 22nd April.

As reported, World of Brass and 4barsrest have teamed up to bring their livestream and comprehensive coverage of this year's European Brass Band Championships in Montreux.

All the performances from Europe's top bands from the magnificent Stravinsky auditorium will be brought to you hosted by 4BR Editor Iwan Fox, accompanied by additional written analysis and commentary, live interviews and other features throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Book from 22nd April

You will be able to purchase access to watch the action from World of Brass from Monday 22nd April, giving you unrivalled coverage from Friday afternoon (26th April) through to the end of Sunday for only £12.95, or alternatively the Youth Section only (Sunday) will be available for just £5.95.

The livestream will begin at around 3.30 pm (local time) on Friday with introductory comments and interviews, before the contest commences at 4.00pm with all Championship Section set-test performances of 'Dear Cassandra…' — Concerto no. 14 for Brass Band and Percussion by Ludovic Neurohr.

All the action

On Saturday (8.45am) you can enjoy the Challenge Section action followed by the blockbuster Championship Section own-choice selections at noon. The broadcast will then be back before resuming for the Gala Concert at 8.30pm with those highly anticipated results being announced to the banding world.

Coverage of Sunday's European Youth Championships begins just before 9.30am with the Development and Premier Sections, before the event concludes with the Farewell Concert at 3.30pm.

The last opportunity to sign up will be midnight on Friday 3rd May.
