The Scottish Brass Band Association is looking for a new Press & Publicity Officer

The Scottish Brass Band Association is looking to appoint a highly motivated person to become its Press & Publicity Officer.

They are looking for a person with an understanding of the brass band movement both locally and nationally, who is able to make innovative use of the printed and on-line press outlets, as well as social media to promote the work being undertaken by the Scottish Brass Band Association and its member bands.

Great opportunity

A spokesperson told 4BR: "This is a great opportunity to work with a hugely supportive board of volunteers on a part-time, flexible basis. We have built up good communication links with the press but wish to build on it further.

The passion and desire to promote Scottish banding in a positive and exciting way is essential."
