Mango Design is celebrating its third birthday with great success

A graphic design company set up by baritone player Ben Stratford is celebrating its third birthday this week by preparing for yet another banding trip — this time to the European Brass Band Championships in Montreux.

Mango Design is a small multidisciplinary graphic and web design company based in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.

Acclaim

Since being set up by the RWCMD graduate it has gained widespread acclaim for its innovative approach and striking design work with bands, as well as market leaders such as 4BR, Royal College of Music, World of Brass, Prima Vista Musik, as well as many local and national organisations.

"It's been hard work, but it's been well worth it,"Ben told 4BR. "I've been fortunate to have been able to combine my passion for brass banding and design, allowing me the opportunity to create exciting links to other areas.

Working with major businesses such as 4BR is fun too — as there is always another new idea to try out."

Montreux bound

He added: "I'm excited to be heading to the Europeans in Montreux in a couple of weeks time to work with 4BR, World of Sound and Ian Clowes at Goldy Solutions, and with a number of other projects in the pipeline it's going to be a busy time."
