Musicwear etc gains stamp of customer service excellence

The brass band clothing and accessory company now finds itself in the company of businesses that have excelled at customer service and innovation.

Musicwear
Musicwear etc has built a reputation for its customer care and inventive approach to business.

Although Musicwear etc continues to make its mark in international market places with its range of formal and casual wear products and music accessories, it has also gained a stamp of approval closer to home from leading entrepreneurs and innovators in the UK.

They were recently invited to a national Business Excellence Award convention honouring companies that had gained reputations for their approach to customer service and innovation in the manufacturing and wholesaling sectors.

Industry leaders

1200 companies from aviation and accountancy to water science were acknowledged for the way in which they had become industry leaders in these fields — linking product excellence to customer satisfaction.

Development Manager Lloyd Shipp told 4BR that the invitation came as a surprise, but the event was an incredible experience in networking with companies who shared the same ethos.

"To be recognised in this way was very special, and to be able to talk at length to people from completely different fields of manufacturing but still find that there was a common goal to put the customer first was inspiring.

The core values of these businesses were our core values — quality and expertise linked to outstanding customer service, and there was genuine interest from people to find out more about what we do at Musicwear etc and how we've succeeded."

Build on success

Lloyd added: "What was so encouraging was that everyone said that they had learnt from the challenges they had faced and wanted to keep improving day after day.

It was a great honour to be invited and to be celebrated in this way — and I can assure our customers that we will continue to keep building on our success."
