Denby Pottery
The Denby Pottery entertainment event has become a popular addition to the banding calendar

The popular Denby Pottery Village contest will take place on Saturday 22nd June, with bands urged to get their entries in as soon as possible.

The entertainment contest and charity day has become a huge success, with the 2018 contest filled with entrants and the audience topped up to the brim with great music as well as food from the brilliant barbecue and farm shop and drink from the ever popular Prosecco stall.

A purpose built covered stage area will be in place just in case the weather is not as kind as last year and we encourage everyone to bring their deck chairs and enjoy a perfect summer dayMelanie Cooper

Relaxed day

Contest organiser Melanie Cooper told 4BR: "The event is a relaxed day of music making and bands are welcome from all sections including those who wish to enter the special Village & Community Section for those who do not normally compete.

A purpose built covered stage area will be in place just in case the weather is not as kind as last year and we encourage everyone to bring their deck chairs and enjoy a perfect summer day."
