The Reg Vardy Band will be looking to regain the North of England Regional title in Durham on the weekend.
However, they will also be taking time out to showcase their preparations on 'Seascapes' by Ray Steadman-Allen, as well as giving the opportunity for two other bands to enjoy performing their test-pieces.
Time and place
Its free of charge so everyone can come along on March 15th at the band's headquarters at The Old Salvation Army Hall on View Lane, Stanley (DH9 0DX).
It starts promptly with the first performance at 7.30pm with the Fourth Section contenders Spennymoor Town Band playing 'Stantonbury Festival'.
They will be followed by NASUWT Concert Band playing the Second Section work, 'Rise of the Phoenix', before the evening is rounded off with Reg Vardy under Russell Gray showcasing 'Seascapes'.
All that and you can get a cup of tea too!!
