All eyes on Huddersfield for Allegro Optical

The Musician's Optician enjoyed a great deal at Blackpool — but now their focus is on Huddersfield...

Allgro Optical
The Allegro Optical focus is one Huddersfield this weekend.

The team from Allegro Optical, the 'Musician's Optician', enjoyed a wonderful day at the recent North West Regional Championships.

So much so in fact that they have spent the past week sorting out a raft of appointments for brass band players keen to get their eyes tested, select new frames and find out more about the specialized services they have to offer.

Award winner

The family company based in Saddleworth recently won a prestigious Federation of Small Business Award as the 'Scale up Business of the Year' in the Yorkshire & Humberside region — the latest in a line of accolades that have come their way.

Joint Managing Director and Dispensing Optician Sheryl Doe told 4BR: "We had a wonderful time at Blackpool and met so many interesting and passionate people, as well as customers old and new!

Everyone was keen to find out more about how we can help and how important good eye health is."

We wish everyone the best of luck at Huddersfield this weekend as well — and we hope that we will be linking up with many more brilliant brass band customers in the futureAllegro Optical

Prize winner

Sheryl added: "Our prize draw was also a great attraction and we were delighted to announce that Katrina Woodward, a horn player with Uppermill Band will now benefit from coming to see us to be fitted with a free pair of musician's glasses.

We wish everyone the best of luck at Huddersfield this weekend as well — and we hope that we will be linking up with many more brilliant brass band customers in the future."
