Saddleworth website to help bands

A website has been set up to help bands playing at the Saddleworth Whit Friday contests.

Whit Friday
The Whit Friday circuit will benefit from the new website

A new website has been created to help bands gain further information on the Whit Friday contests on the famous Saddleworth circuit.

The new site has details and links to all contests, a map of the area and a contact form where bands can submit if they wish their details to all of the contests before the event.

This will not register them in any way for a particular contest, but it will give organisers helpful contact details ahead of time.

It is a trial for this year, and we don't know how it will work, but we hope that it will help us to be more efficient and make life easier for the bands when they arriveSaddleworth Area Committee

Help

Set up by the Saddleworth Area Committee, a spokesperson told 4BR: "It is a trial for this year, and we don't know how it will work, but we hope that it will help us to be more efficient and make life easier for the bands when they arrive."
