The East Anglian Brass Band Association has announced its 2019 'Brass for Youth Project', which will see up to 250 young brass band players attend a concert given by National Champion Foden's.

Association Secretary, Christine Wade, told 4BR: "We will welcome Foden's to St Andrew's Hall in Norwich on June 2nd to headline our 81st Gala Concert.
Thanks to support from the Norwich Freemen's Charity, the Geoffrey Watling Charity and donations in memory of our late Secretary/Life Vice President Dianne Hastings, we are able to offer up to 250 young brass musicians aged 16 or under from Norfolk and Suffolk a free ticket to the concert.
Dianne Hastings who worked tirelessly for the Association was Secretary for over 42 years and Life Vice President for three years."
The concert will be preceded by a Solo & Quartet contest at Blackfriars Hall in Norwich, consisting of junior and senior slow melodies, air varies and quartets.

Anyone wishing to apply for free tickets or requiring more information regarding the Solo & Quartet contest should email administration@eabba.org
Free tickets will be allocated in the order that a completed form is received by the Association.
Tickets are on sale to the general public priced at £13.00 and £15.00 if purchased before 31st March and £15.00 and £17.00 respectively if purchased after that date.
