Former members of the Sun Life Stanshawe Band are being invited to come along to enjoy another reunion afternoon of memories and reminiscences about the great Bristol based band.

It follows a highly successful (and very merry) event held in 2018 when former players, conductors and friends got together over a few pints to recall the great times of a band that won numerous titles — including the British Open in 1990.

Old times

Spokesperson Geoff Colmer told 4BR: "We had a super day last year and want to repeat it again. We are fully aware that time is marching on so this is a great chance to meet up to re-live old times and share special memories, whilst partaking in a light libation…or two"

Turning up

For those wishing to join the fun, just simply turn-up at the Cornubia Pub at 142 Temple St, Bristol(BS1 6EN) on Saturday, 1st June between 3.00pm and 6.00pm.
