Band Supplies will be heading to the Brass Band League NI Solo & Ensemble Competition packed with goodies for a weekend with old and new friends...

Band Supplies
Band Supplies will be making the journey over to Northern Ireland

Band Supplies will be making a welcome visit to the Fermanagh & Tyrone Brass Band Summer School this weekend to enjoy the music making provided not just by two of the world's great virtuosi brass players, but also plenty of aspiring soloists of all ages too at the Brass Band League NI Solo & Ensemble Competition.

Besson stars

Besson Musical Instrument stars Owen Farr and Les Neish will present 'An Evening with…' this evening (Friday 15th February) at Malone Presbyterian Church Halls, BT9 6GT (7.00pm), offering a great opportunity for players and brass band lovers of all ages and standards to not only meet the adjudicators for the event, but to also hear them in performance mode.

Owen and Les will also answer all sorts of questions that anyone wishes to ask them (musical of course!) as well as giving invaluable tips and advice on how to prepare a new piece and how to overcome performance nerves.

There is passion and enthusiasm by the bucketful, but also so much playing talent and vibrancy about the events that are held here that is always inspiringRonnie Tennant

Competition day

The following day (Saturday 16th) at the same venue the Brass Band League NI Solo & Ensemble Competition will take place with Owen and Les making the all important decisions.

Band Supplies Ronnie Tennant told 4BR: "I've been a regular visitor to Northern Ireland for many years to enjoy the wonderful brass band scene here.

There is passion and enthusiasm by the bucketful, but also so much playing talent and vibrancy about the events that are held here that is always inspiring.

Band Supplies will be taking a great selection of our products to the contest day and we hope to spend just as much time meeting up with old and new friends as we do helping our fantastic customers!"
