Cutt takes consultant role with Treize Etoiles

Fairey Band Musical Director Garry Cutt will strengthen his European links this year following this appointment as the new Musical Consultant to former Swiss National champion Brass Band Treize Etoiles.

Garry will follow in the footsteps of James Gourlay who enjoyed a decade of association with the band, and will work with Musical Director, Frederic Theodoloz, who will now lead them at all future contests.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Our sincere thanks to James Gourlay for all his hard work and the great success he helped us achieve. We are now honoured to work with another hugely respected name in the banding world, and we look forward to our future collaboration with Garry Cutt."

New era

In response Garry told 4BR: "I'm really looking forward to linking up with Treize Etoile and helping them in what is a new era.

Garry, who has previously worked with the likes of Brass Band Fribourg and Wallberg Band will make regular visits to Switzerland to assist with preparations for the Swiss Open and Swiss National Championships later this year.
