It has been confirmed that 18 bands will compete at the forthcoming Dutch Open Championships to be held on 8th June in the impressive De Lawei venue in Drachten.
Support
Supported by Yamaha and the county of Smallingerland, interest in the Netherlands based contest has seen competitors enter from the home nation alongside those from Belgium, Germany and Scotland. It is understood the event will be broadcast through subscription to the BrassPass tv media outlet.
Each band will perform a 30 minute own-choice programme to include a major own-choice test-piece, with the organisers encouraging an ethos of including new works.
