4BR has been informed that Nigel Seaman has relinquished his position as Professional Musical Director of City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) Band.

Nigel told 4BR: "Recent developments within the organisation has meant that the time is right for me to move on from what has been an enjoyable and fruitful association."

Midlands and Wales

Nigel said that he now looks forward to devoting more time visiting other bands around Wales and beyond.

He has regional test-piece workshops lined up with a number of bands and will be directing Jaguar Land Rover at the Midlands Regional Championships in Bedworth as well as taking BTM Band to the Welsh Regional Championships.
