Wakefield to field triple whammy at Area

Wakefield Metropolitan Band will field a trip of new players when they take to the stage at the forthcoming Yorkshire Regional Championships.

There will be three new players wearing the Wakefield badge at Huddersfield in a few weeks time.

The Wakefield Metropolitan Band has announced a 'triple whammy' of signings in time for the appearance in the First Section of upcoming Yorkshire Regional Championships.

Signings

It comes in the form of Diane Mann on second trombone from Barnsley Brass and Ian Woffinden on bass trombone, who has recently returned to playing, whilst the trio is completed by the experienced Paul Stevenson on BBb tuba from Knottingley.
