Riverside quintet to head to Germany

A quintet of players from North of England Area champion NASUWT Riverside will head to Germany later this month to help with some special celebrations.

A quintet from the 2018 North of England Regional champion NASUWT Riverside is flying to Germany on 18th January to play at a special event in Tubingen, near Stuttgart.

50th anniversary

2019 sees the 50th anniversary of the twinning of the cities of Durham and Tubingen, and the ensemble's visit will be part of a special event at the city university which will be hosted by the Mayor and attended by over 1000 dignitaries. The quintet will provide musical interludes as entertainment for those in attendance.
