The award winning pupils of Wardle Academy will be kept busy over the next week or so with their festive music making...

Pupils at Wardle Academy, near Rochdale, Lancashire, rehearse Christmas music in Christmas attire on Friday morning (14th December) for one of the 19 concerts the Academy's highly successful brass bands have, or are giving, over the festive period.

Around 90 pupils play in the Academy's brass bands, and they hold the titles of National Intermediate Champions of Great Britain, and European Youth Development Section Champions.
