One band that will not be worrying about selling tickets for their annual festive concert appearance is Eagley Band, after they announced that the 1,270 seat Victoria Hall in Bolton has been sold out for an event that will feature Smithills Community Choir on Saturday December 22nd.

MD Chris Wormald told 4BR that he is thrilled at the outcome, although he hopes that it doesn't result in people making a last minute decision to try and turn up on the night in the hope of bagging a seat.

"Selling out with days to go is wonderful news and always hugely gratifying, although it means that people who turn up on the night hoping for a ticket to enjoy the entertainment will be disappointed. Nobody wants to turn away support, but it shows that good promotion of a great event works and works well."
