Junior champion
The talented young cornet player is accompanied on piano by his dad Peter, and such is his success rate that the day after appearing in the regional final of the Rotary Young Musician competition in Doncaster, he claimed four trophies at the Leicestershire BBA Solo Competition including the Harry Bray Memorial Trophy as 'Overall Junior Champion'.
In addition, a week later, he collected two more at the West Midlands BBA Solos event and followed that at the City of Coventry and Warwickshire Brass Festival, where he won five trophies including the Festival Champion Shield.
Christopher, who has been taught by both Pat Allsopp and Sheila Allen in the past, is a member of the National Children's Brass Band and has also passed his ABRSM Grade 7 Cornet exam with a mark of over 1404BR

Not content with that haul he recently added another two trophies at the Leicester Competitive Festival of Music and Drama, including the coveted 'Silver Fox' trophy as winner of the 'Young Performer of the Year' final.
Christopher, who has been taught by both Pat Allsopp and Sheila Allen in the past, is a member of the National Children's Brass Band and has also passed his ABRSM Grade 7 Cornet exam with a mark of over 140.
