Eight year link comes to an end for Groarke-Booth and Tintwistle

The musical partnership between Sarah Groarke-Booth and Tintwistle will come to an end later this year.

4BR has been informed that the musical partnership between Sarah Groarke-Booth and Tintwistle Band is to come to an end after a successful eight year musical collaboration.

Sarah is due to stand down at the end of December following a full and varied seasonal concert schedule and after a tenure that included victory at the Midlands Regional Championship in 2010 and a brace of podium finishes since 2015.

A busy professional actor, she intends to maintain her strong links with the banding community and is looking forward to developing new links as a freelance conductor, whilst continuing to fulfil her many adjudicating commitments4BR

The band is advertising for suitable applicants for the position of Musical Director and hopes to announce the new appointment in the New Year.
