Swiss to host first Alto Horn Festival

A festival weekend dedicated to all things tenor horn is to be held in Switzerland next year.

The first Swiss Alto Horn Festival is to be held in Saint-Maurice, Switzerland next year featuring some of the world's finest exponents of the instrument.

Host and stars

Hosted by Julien Roh, the former Swiss Solo Champion, conductor and composer, it will feature masterclasses from the likes of Arfon Owen, Sheona White and Anthony Galinier, alongside a solo competition (two categories) and concert featuring Ensemble de Cuivres Valaisan.

It will take place on the weekend of the 30th/31st March 2019
