The 2018 Austrian National Championships will take place at the 1400 seat Brucknerhaus in Linz next month.
Contest and gala concert
The event forms part of the high profile Linz Brass Festival, which runs from the 17th to the 20th November in the Upper Austrian city, with the fifth annual contest on Sunday November 18th followed by the gala concert featuring Tredegar Band alongside international artists David Childs, Allen Vizzutti, Felix Geroldinger and London Brass.
Championship quartet
Four bands will battle for the honour of representing Austria at the 2019 European Brass Band Championships, performing the set-work, 'Metropolis 1927' by Peter Graham as well as their own-choice selections.
The judges are Oliver Waespi (Switzerland), Bert van Thienen (Belgium) and Florent Didier (France).
