The leading Norwegian Entertainment Championship, SIDDIS Brass, has announced that its 2018 event will be broadcast live around the banding world thanks to a partnership link with BrassPass.tv.
The event takes place at Stavanger's impressive Konserthaus on 3rd November when 55 bands will take to the stage in three different halls.
It is understood that it will enable to organisers to showcase with multiple cameras, the performances of all the bands in each section. Presentation will be in both Norwegian and English.
Delighted
Steffen Rogne, on behalf of the SIDDIS committee told 4BR: "We are delighted with this new link with BrassPass.tv, and as part of our new arrangement, archive SIDDIS performances from previous competitions will also be available on the platform."
He added: "Second year students on the television and multimedia production course at Stavanger University will manage the camera operations, with BrassPass production managers overseeing and contributing to the production value. It promises to be a fantastic event."
