All Brass Bands New Top 20 List: September 2018
September's results on All Brass Radio have been very interesting — adding 6 new CDs worth of new tracks and removing the same amount to leave a core of 415 on a superb playlist.
Voting tastes have changed it seems with Kirsty Abbots (who was in the #1 spot for several months in a row) bumped down into 5th (although still a remarkable testament to her magnificent playing).
Meanwhile, bands that had never made the top twenty before have now made a first appearance, whilst some old classics made it into the list such as 'The Lincolnshire Poacher' by Roberts Bakery Band and Leroy Anderson's 'The Typewriter' played by Yorkshire Imperial Metals.
Also, to our great pleasure, many people took more time than some to vote down tracks.
This is more important than most think. We never remove a track if it gets just one 'down' vote. But if it gets two or more, it is removed. It is very important for us to know what you like — and just as important to know any tracks you, the listeners, dislike!

All Brass Radio is a commercial-free subscription-free internet radio station started by Dr. Jim Fox over 16 years ago.
Your band can donate a CD and we will give you both publicity and airtime.
Donate
Of course the CD must meet a minimum quality standard. I have had nearly 90 donated CDs and have only had one I couldn't use. Normally, if your band is good enough to record a CD it is good enough to get play on the station
We would like to keep the station commercial-free and subscription-free. To do that we rely on donors.
You can tune into the station and/or give a donation at www.allbrassradio.com
