Elland strengthen backroom team

Elland Silver Band has ensured that it has a great deal of backroom support to keep building on its success.

There have been a number of changes to the backroom team at the highly successful Elland Silver Band organisation.

Stepped down

Long serving Chairman Peter Greenleaf has stepped down from the role after giving 40 years of outstanding service, and which saw him spearhead the band's development from the depths of despair to what is now regarded as one of the most progressive band organisations in the UK.

The recent well attended Annual General Meeting saw officers and representatives elected as follows:

President: Lord David Shut
Chairman: Dayle Squires
Secretary: Kathleen Harrison
Treasurer: Kathryn Hampshire
Safeguarding officer: Carol Wood
Management team: Samantha Harrison, Peter Greenleaf, Richard Knight, Sarah Musgreave
