The Foss Dyke Band has welcomed the appointment of Ian Scott as its new Associate Conductor.

During a long and distinguished career he enjoyed spells on trombone with Yorkshire Main Colliery and City of Coventry Bands, before moving to New Zealand where he enjoyed considerable success as a player and conductor from Fourth Section Championship level. In addition to his contest success he also directed the Television New Zealand Band.

We're delighted that Ian is able to come on board. He is a wonderful conductor to play under and we will look forward to working with himFoss Dyke Band.
